Baptiste Appaerts obtained his Master’s degree in Public and International Law with great distinction from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2023.
In 2022, he participated in an Erasmus exchange program and studied at the Università La Sapienza in Rome.
Since September 2023, he practises as lawyer who specializes in public law in Brussels, with expertise covering several specific areas of Belgian public law. His main areas of focus includes education law, public service law, constitutional litigation, public service liability law and general administrative law.
In parallel, Baptiste is an assistant at ULB, where he teaches constitutional law, and at UMons, where he teaches History of Law.
In August 2024, Baptiste joined Portico.
